Moving to the Lake Geneva region or already living here? If you're looking for eyelash extensions in Nyon and prefer communicating in English, here's everything you need to know.
Why an English guide?
Nyon sits between Geneva and Lausanne, home to thousands of international professionals, expats, and English-speaking residents. CERN, the UN, and dozens of multinationals are right next door. Yet most lash studios in the area only communicate in French, from their website to the consultation to the aftercare instructions.
At Alexanna, the entire experience is available in English: booking, consultation, and aftercare guidance. The website is fully bilingual.
What to expect at a Swiss lash studio
A few things that might differ from what you're used to:
Punctuality matters. Arrive on time. Swiss appointments run on schedule, and being late may shorten your session.
Payment: cash (CHF), card, and Twint are accepted.
Tipping is not expected in Switzerland. It's appreciated but never assumed.
The consultation comes first. Every appointment at Alexanna begins with a personal assessment of your eye shape, natural lash condition, and the look you want.
Services and styles
Alexanna specialises exclusively in eyelash extensions. Three styles are available:
Classic (cil-à-cil): one extension per natural lash. The most natural result, perfect for a first set.
Russian volume: fans of 2-6 ultra-fine extensions per lash. Fuller, more dramatic, ideal if your natural lashes are sparse.
Hybrid: a mix of classic and volume for texture and dimension.
A full set takes 60 to 80 minutes. Refills every 2-3 weeks take 45 to 60 minutes.
Pricing
Transparent, no surprises:
Full set (classic): from 150 CHF
Refill: from 95 CHF
This positions Alexanna in the quality mid-range for Nyon. For reference, local prices range from 85 CHF (budget) to 240 CHF and more (luxury institutes). You're getting 10+ years of specialised expertise without the luxury-institute markup.
Location and getting there
Alexanna Lashes, Place du Château 7, 1260 Nyon
The studio is in the heart of Nyon's old town, right at the foot of the castle. If you can see the Château de Nyon, you're there.
By train: Nyon station is a 2-minute walk. Direct trains from Geneva (15 min), Lausanne (30 min), and Geneva Airport (22 min).
By car: Parking available at Place du Château (blue zone, free for 1.5 hours, more than enough for a refill). Larger car parks at Perdtemps and Place Bel-Air within 3 minutes on foot.
By bus: Multiple regional lines stop at Nyon gare. From there, walk up towards the castle.
No waitlist
Some Nyon lash specialists are booked out 10 to 19 days in advance. At Alexanna, appointments are typically available within the week. If you need a last-minute refill before a trip or event, it's usually possible.
Aftercare (in English)
Your lash tech will walk you through aftercare in person, but here's the summary:
First 24 hours: avoid water on the lashes. The adhesive needs time to fully cure.
No rubbing. Not with your fingers, not with a towel.
Sleep on your back when possible. A silk pillowcase helps if you're a side sleeper.
Avoid oil-based products around the eyes: cleansers, moisturisers, serums.
No sauna or steam rooms for 48 hours.
Brush gently every morning with the spoolie brush provided.
After the first two days, maintenance is simple: daily gentle cleansing and a quick brush in the morning.
A second location in the hills
If you live in the Jura foothills above Nyon (Arzier, Saint-Cergue, Genolier), a second cabin is available in Arzier-Le Muids by appointment. Same quality, quieter setting.
Book online
Everything is in English on the website. Pick your service, choose Nyon or Arzier, select a time.
