How long do eyelash extensions last?

In short: a set usually lasts 2 to 4 weeks before a refill. This is not about the quality of the application, but about your lashes' natural cycle: each natural lash sheds and regrows, taking the extension attached to it with it.
Why not longer?
Your natural lashes follow a constant growth-and-shedding cycle: you lose a few every day, which is normal. Because each extension is placed on a natural lash, it leaves with it. After 2 to 3 weeks the set looks less full, without being damaged.
The right rhythm: the refill
Rather than redoing a full set, you maintain it with a refill every 2 to 3 weeks: the lashes that have shed are replaced and the set is re-densified. It is quicker and more economical. More on this here: lash refills in Nyon.
What makes a set last (or not)
Aftercare. Oily products, rubbing and prolonged hot water weaken retention.
Your lash cycle. It varies from person to person; it is physiological.
The style. A well-distributed Russian volume hides shedding better than a very natural set.
Key takeaway
A set lasts 2 to 4 weeks; a refill every 2 to 3 weeks keeps it looking crisp continuously. We define your ideal rhythm at the consultation.
