The wet look, also called the "wet" or "Kim K" lash effect, is one of the biggest lash trends of 2026. The result: glossy lashes structured into clean little spikes, like freshly applied mascara. It is a style I do in Nyon, and like the wispy look, it is a finish rather than a separate service.
What is the wet look?
Instead of uniform density, the extensions are grouped into slightly spaced, glossy spikes for a defined, glossy, slightly graphic look. It is built on a hybrid or Russian volume base: it is the way the lashes are placed and structured that creates the effect, with no special product and no surcharge.
Who is the wet look for?
For anyone who wants a bold, photogenic, modern look, perfect for an event, a shoot, or simply a stronger everyday style. If you prefer something softer and airier, the wispy look will suit you better.

My honest take on the other 2026 trends
Not every trend is worth it, and I prefer to be transparent about what I do and what I don't.
Manga (or anime) lashes, which are very graphic and dramatic, are not part of my usual styles: they are not what my clientele here is looking for. That said, I am open to creating them on request, after a consultation to see together whether the look suits you and whether it works on your lashes.
Lower lash extensions, on the other hand, I do not offer, and that is a deliberate choice: they hold poorly and get damaged quickly. I would rather not offer a service whose retention and quality do not satisfy me than follow a trend for the sake of it. The health of your natural lashes comes first.
My approach is simple: adopt the trends that deliver a real, lasting result, not all of them on principle. We always discuss it at the consultation, with honest advice tailored to your lashes.
