In short: clean them gently every day, avoid oily products, brush them, and take it easy for the first 24 hours. Good aftercare makes your set last longer and keeps it looking crisp between refills.

The first 24 hours

The glue is still curing: avoid hot water, steam (sauna, hammam), and do not rub your eyes. After that, back to normal.

Every day

  • Clean with a gentle lash-specific cleanser (no oily makeup remover or oil).

  • Brush gently with a small spoolie to keep the lashes aligned.

  • Avoid oily products (oils, rich creams around the eyes): they dissolve the glue.

  • No mascara on the extensions: unnecessary and hard to remove.

  • Sleep on your back if possible, so you do not crush the lashes.

To make your set last

Good aftercare slows shedding and keeps the set dense for longer. But because your lashes follow their cycle, a refill is still needed: see how long extensions last and when to book a refill.

Key takeaway

Gentle, oil-free, regular brushing. It is simple, and it really changes retention. We give you advice tailored to your set on the day of your appointment.
